Overview

Annapurna base camp trek is an amazing walk through diverse landscape and culture complete with rich mountain vistas, terraced fields, quaint Gurung villages and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Mt. Annapurna (8091m) of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its base camp, which is at 4130m/13549ft height, is one of the most popular walks on earth. Moreover, we reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail), which is revered by the Nepalese for its unique beauty. Furthermore, thanks to the well-groomed itinerary of the Annapurna Base Camp trekking package, it is a popular choice among diverse outdoor enthusiasts, from a solo female traveler to hikers travelling in groups to Nepal.

Day 01: Afternoon arrival at Kathmandu airport. Airport pickup & transfer to

respective hotels, afternoon time to buy necessary good for trekking.

Day 02: Morning Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 minute flight), arrive at

Pokhara airport and drive to Nayapul (55km drive) & then trekking starts from

Nayapul to Hot Spring (1730m) (4 to 5 hours trek).

After having breakfast early in the morning with a half flight to Pokhara and drive

to Nayapul and you will start your trek to Tikedhunga. At a 30minutes walk from

Nayapul you will reach to Birethati, here you have to show your trekking permit

and TIMS in the National Park Office. After a short stops, and trail slightly goes

hot spring, follow the Modi Khola, village of syaulibazar, Queme new bridge and

finally crossing several rice field beautifully settled hamlets and reach to hot

spring jhinu danda and overnight at Lodge.

Day 03: Trek from hot spring to Dovan (2600m) (5 Hours)

After morning breakfast in hot spring trail slightly goes uphill to Chhomrung. The

sanctuary trail goes uphill to modikhola valley and then continues jhinu danda

near hot spring before steeps climbs to Taklung village and further uphill to

Chhomrung village. Chhomrung at 2210m last permanent settlement in the valley

and the trail drops down a set of stone steps to Chhomrung Khola and than uphill

to Sinuwa and on through rhododendron forest to Kuldi (2470m). The trek now

enters the upper modikhola valley. The section of the trail is a bottleneck and

only few lodges in the Bamboo, which opening during the high season. In the

winter it is very common find snow from this point. From here one walks to Dovan

and overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek from Dovan to Machhauchhare base camp (3700m) (4 Hours)

From the Dovan via Himalaya hotel it’s on to Hinko (3100m) then to lodge at

Deurali at the gate way to Sanctuary. At the Machhauchhare base camp isn’t

really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted and there is

decent accommodation available. Some time altitude sickness will start from here

to heading uphill to Annapurna base camp.

Day 05: Trek from MBC to Annapurna base camp (4130m) and trek back to

Dovan (2600m) (7 – 8 Hours)

The trail leads you uphill to Annapurna base camp at 4130m and it will take 3

hours and better to do early in the day before clouds roll in. if there is snow trail is

difficult to follow. The lodge you can get here very crowded at high of the trekking

season. The frozen dawn is best observed from the glacier moraine from your

lodge and trek downhill to Dovan via Machhauchhare base camp, Deurali,

Himalaya Hotel and arrive Dovan overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek from MBC to Annapurna base camp (4130m) and trek back to

Dovan (2600m): One extra day in case 7-8 hours walk would be long day of trek

on day 5th, so we divide the journey into two days.

Day 07: Trek from Dovan to Chhomrung (2170m) (4 hours)

After morning breakfast in Dovan trail leads you to Sinuwa via bamboo. Which is

3 hour walking from Dovan through Rhododendron forest and Himalayan

Bamboo, Small tea/coffee or cold drinks breaks in Sinuwa the trail directly goes

downhill to Chhomrung Khola, cross Chhomrung  Khola and trail directly goes

uphill to Chhomrung village with the set of stone steps.

Day 08: Trek from Chhomrung to Tadapani (2680m) (5 Hours)

After morning breakfast in Chhomrung say good bye to modikhola upper valley

and trail leads you to Kim rung Khola. First part of the trail take through rural

mountain village and directly drops you to Kim rung Khola and trail goes directly

uphill to Kim rung hill through rhododendron forest. Short break in Kim rung hill

trail slightly turn to beautiful small village of Tadapani. Tadapani village is in a

hill area, surrounded by Rhododendron Forest around.

Day 09: Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani ( 2855m) (6 hours)

After morning Breakfast we walk all forest way ups and down. A new experience

Excitement to get in Ghorepani. A popular trek also known as Poon Hill Trek.

Ghorepani is a small village scattered with green meadows and colorful flora.

The highest point of this trek is Poonhill lies on the 3210 meters. At the poonhill high point, you can soak in a beautiful sunrise and panoramic views of the Annapurna range.

Day 10: Trek from Ghorepani to Ulleri (1820m) ( 5 hours)

After morning breakfast in Ghorepani we walk all the way down to Ulleri. Forest

of Rhododendron forest and crossing few small villages along the way.

Day 11: Trek from Ulleri to Nayapool (5 hours)

Drive Back to Pokhara 1:30 hours.

We take breakfast in Ulleri and walk steep down to Tirkedhunga. On the way out

You can see waterfalls and many local rivers flowing down. A beautiful Trail to

Walk seeing the natural sceneries and more. The trail leads you downhill has

some small tea house. Prolong your walk to reach Nayapool.

Day 12: Rest day in Pokhara: Relax & sightseeing.

Morning breakfast, followed by One Hour of Trekkers Massage at SPA.

Trekkers massage is a special developed massage for people who went on a

trek, it helps you to loosen up a stiff muscles & improves blood circulations.

Afternoon time for the boat ride across the Lake Phewa in the shade of the

Annapurna mountain range, with a visit to the small beautiful island which houses

the Barahi Temple.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu on tourist bus (6 hours drive) Afternoon arrival

in Kathmandu, hotel check in & evening shopping at Thamel Market.

Day 14: Sightseeing at Patan Durbar Square in Morning & Afternoon Bhaktapur

Durbarsquare sight sightseeing, listed by UNESCO as a world Heritage Site.

Day 15: Hotel Check out & International Flight Departure

Included in the Cost

Airport pickups and drops in a private vehicle. Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara with breakfast .Farewell Dinner. Teahouse accommodation during the trek.
