Overview

Trek on the exhilarating Annapurna circuit trail, reach Thorong La pass and cross the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki gorge
Annapurna Circuit Trek has become popular since it opened to foreign trekkers in 1977. This route offers traditional village and culture, gumbas and stupas, lush green valleys, majestic Mountains, flora and fauna. Starting from less than 1,000 meters, it gives us a chance to explore the Himalayas from bottom to top from various angles and perspectives.

This trek route is introduced for our trekkers to experience nature closely with scenic view. We will start our trek from Besi Shahar which goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the East. We will continue to the North of the main Himalayan range to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, where the scenery is equally breathtaking.

The highest point of the trek is Thorung-La Pass(5,416m) at the top of the valley.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345 meters)

You will be welcomed on your arrival by our representative at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. You will be transferred to your hotel. Once you check into the hotel, find some free and relaxing time until we meet for the briefing at some point in the evening. You will be informed about the time for the briefing at your hotel.

Day 02 Kathmandu – Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning we go for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. We are going to do the UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE TOUR today which includes:
Swoyambhunath – The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys thus also known as Monkey Temple, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.
Pashupatinath- A holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch as the Hindu dead bodies are cremated in the most unique way in the world; we come across men with ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look which is typical look of a Hindu Holy Men known as Sadhus.
Boudhanath- the biggest Buddhist temple in the world; a site for Tibetan Buddhism where we can visit monasteries, watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.

Day 03 Kathmandu – Drive to Saynge 


Drive from Kathmandu for about 5 hours on a private car, to Besi Shahar , then from Beshisahar, we take a Jeep to Saynge (4 hours jeep ride) Over Night stay at Saynge. The Approximate Travel Duration – 9 Hrs

Day 04 Trek from Syange to Tal (1700 meters) – 6 hrs.
Now tighten up the Shoes laces, we will start walking gradually following the beautiful Marsyangdi River. This walk will be slightly ascending and we will come across the beautiful waterfalls on this walk. We will rest at Tal tonight. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 05  Trek from Tal to Danaque (1860 meters) – 6 hrs
This will be our exciting day, we will leave Marsyangdi River behind and continue our journey to witness Annapurna II, Pisang Peak, beautiful landscape and old villages. Don’t miss an opportunity to take beautiful pictures as we encounter with Mountains, waterfalls and Country side life style of Nepal. We will rest at Danaque. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 06 Trek from Danaque to Chame (2670 meters) – 4 hrs
We will continue our walk enjoying the view of Mountains, Peaks and waterfalls on the way. Today will be the easy day, after 4 hrs walk we will reach to Chame, headquarter of Manang. It’s a beautiful little town with more facility than your previous days. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 07 Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300meters) – 6 hrs
After breakfast, we continue our trek to Upper Pisang. On the way, we will walk through the dense forest, Marsyangdi River and come across the beautiful panoramic view of meadow land and Mountains. During this walk, we will see the first view of gigantic Paungda Dada rock face, which is curved like a bowl shape. Eventually, after 6 hours walk, we will reach to Upper Pisang from where we can see a Majestic Annapurna II standing high on our South and we will rest here today. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 08 Trek from Upper Pisang to Ngawal (3660 meters) – 6 hrs
Today, wake up early in the morning, watch the beautiful sunrise and first ray of sun on Annapurna II. After breakfast, we will continue our trek towards Ngawal. The trail to Ngawal is about 400 above to lower trail but you will have the great opportunity to witness high altitude flora and fauna, beautiful gorges, Annapurna II and III and Pisang Peak. We will take rest in Ngawal. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 09  Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3500 meters) via Bhraka (3660 meters) – 6 hrs
We continue our trek walking through the big Hills, jungle and wetlands. On the way, we can see beautiful landscapes, stupas and lama school. After 6 hrs walk, we will reach to Manang, one of the happening places of the trek. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 10  Acclimatization day at Manang village
We spend a day acclimatizing in Manang by doing some walks and sightseeing around the village. We will visit Monastery and go to Gangapurna Glacier Lake during our walk. Towards the end of the day, we return to our accommodation for a night’s rest. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 11 Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,000meters) – 5 hrs
After acclimatization and rest at Manang, we will be energized and excited to continue our walk towards Yak Kharka which ascends by nearly 500m. We make the climb steadily through Tenki Manang, leaving the Marsyangi Valley. Continuing along the Jarsang Khola Valley, we reach Yak Kharka at 4,000m. Herds of yaks and vegetations appear to thin out. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 12  Trek from Yak Kharka to High Camp (4,450meters) – 5 hrs
After a two hour ascent, the trail descends to cross the river at 4,310m. We then climb up to Thorong Phedi at 4,450m where decent guesthouses have been built in the recent years. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 13 Trek from High Camp to Muktinath (3,800meters) via Thorung La pass (5,416meters) – 8 hrs

Today is a long trek starting before sunrise at 4 am to reach the pass by 9-10am because of weather conditions (strong winds), which might greatly affect the journey, particularly at the Thorung La Pass (5,416m). We climb steeply on a regular route which is quite easy to follow. However, some problems may arise due to the altitude and snow. It often causes terrible problems to cross the pass if it is covered by heavy snow. About four hours climb up to the pass marked by the chortens and prayer flags will reward us with stunning views from the top of the pass. Another four hours of walking will take us to the holy town of Muktinath and stay here today. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 14 One extra day added, divided in between for day 13-16

Day 15 Trek Muktinath to Marpha (2,670meters) via Lubra Pass(4020 meters) – 8 hrs
So now, we are at the other side of the trek, most of the land you see will be dry and looks somewhat like the desert. But we will continue our trek walking by the bank of Kaligandi River. Most of the time, we will descend with closer view of stupas and really old traditional house and civilization of Mustang. Marpha is the home to the legendary apple orchids. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 16 Trek from Marpha to Gasha (2,530meters) – 7 hrs
We descend through the valley following the river kali Gandaki. On this trail, we will have an opportunity to view Annapurna I and beautiful landscapes. Most of the time, we experience rain in this area. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 17 Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani/Hotspring(1,190 meters) – 6 hrs
We still continue to descend through Kali Gandaki river valley. On the way, we will encounter the world’s deepest gorge, Kopchepani. Tatopani is famous for its hot springs, where it gets its name (tato – hot; pani – water). This is the best place to relax our body after a long trek.. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 18 Tatopani/Hotspring to Pokhara (Drive by Jeep). Night Stay at Tuki Resort Pokhara

Day 19 Rest day in Pokhara: Spa & sightseeing.
Morning breakfast, followed by one hour of Trekkers Massage at Kinjala wellness center. Trekkers massage is a special developed massage for people who went on a trek, it helps you to loosen up a stiff muscles & improves blood circulations.. Afternoon time for the boat ride across the Lake Phewa in the shade of the Annapurna mountain range, with a visit to the small beautiful island which houses the Varahi Temple.

Day 20 Drive to Chitwan National Park, Sauhara on Tourist Bus (5 Hours Drive)
(The Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 & granted the status of World Heritage Site in 1984. It is a rich natural area in the Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile.)

After morning breakfast we will drive to chitwan national Park. At 2pm we arrive at Hotel Park Side. Afternoon visit of tharu village, elephant stable, visitor center & sunset view point, followed by evening dinner.

Day 21  Jungle Safari
If you are lucky, you may be able to see one-horned rhinoceros there during the jungle safari.
7am breakfast, after that we go canoeing for 30 minute & then Jungle walk for 2 hours. We come back to hotel for lunch in the afternoon & then elephant safari. In the evening we have dinner in the hotel, followed by evening local tharu cultural dance performance.

Day 22  Bird Watching & Kathmandu drive back on Tourist Bus
Early morning wake up at 6am, then we go for one hour bird watching 6.30-7.30am, followed by breakfast in the hotel. 9am bus back to Kathmandu. Evening arrival to Kathmandu, hotel check in then we walk to Thamel for local souvenir shopping.

Day 23 Hotel Check out & International Flight Departure
